29/9/21 Singha Park
16 players turned out today at a glorious Singha Park for the 'Champion Golfer for September' trophy. The greens had been dressed so were a little slow and the bunkers were a bit washed out due to the rainy season but, overall the course was in good condition considering. The scores however were not as good as expected with only two players shooting their handicap or better!!
The result was;
3rd place with 34 points, Scott Wanigesekera
2nd Place with 36 Points, John Prendogast
Winner and Champion Golfer for September with 40 points, Peter Nicholls
Near Pins;
Hole 5 Dave Gourno
Hole 13 Mike Forster
Well played everyone, thoroughly enjoyable day.....

2nd place with 36 points, Dave Gourno
Winner with 38 points, Paul Kelly

15/9/21 Singha Park
15 players turned out today for a stableford at Singha Park. Although the course was very wet it was in great condition as usual and the greens were absolutely superb. With the course being so wet, there was no run on the fairways which caused a few problems for some of the golfers but it didn't detract from the enjoyment of the day.
The result was as follows;
3rd Place, winning the countback with 33 points, Dave Gourno
2nd place with 34 points, Mick Collins
1st place with an outstanding 38 points, Dave Ambridge
Near Pins;
Hole 8, Lee Andersen
Hole 17, Dave Gourno
Well played everyone. See you next week.

8/9/21 Ubolratana Dam
There were 13 players today at 'The Dam' and although the competition was delayed for 30 minutes due to rain the conditions were not too bad. The course now has many new tee boxes, which is a great improvement, and the greens were in good shape. Overall the course was in very good condition for the time of year and with the weather staying overcast and cool, the lack of locker room facilities didn't cause too much of a problem.
The top two spots were taken by the same two golfers as our last stableford at Singha Park. Obviously the cream rises to the top.... The result was as follows;
3rd Place with 34 points, Dean Kellard.
2nd Place, losing out on countback with 35 points, PiChai Chaisong.
Winner, also with 35 points, Graham Burke.

1/9/21 Dancoon
We had 12 players today at Dancoon which was the perfect number for the planned Texas Scramble. Four teams of three players battled it out at a pleasantly overcast course which made the whole day very pleasurable indeed.
The competition was very close and the new handicap system for a Texas Scramble certainly seemed to make a difference. The result was as follows;
2nd place with net 64.4, Dave, Malcolm and Chris
Winners with net 63.4, Richard, Sam and Pete.
Well played everyone, another great day at the golf course.
