Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club

A major player on the Asian Professional Golf Tour, the superb Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club is an absolute must play if you are visiting Thailand.
Located some 6 kilometers outside the city of Khon Kaen, the golf course has been built on what was a waste area for the Singha beer brewery, the owners have turned the land into a truly remarkable golf course with all the facilities one would expect from a top class venue.

 Dancoon Golf Club

18 holes, par 72, opened in 2008. In common with soccer parlance ‘a course of two halves’; an easy front nine, more difficult and interesting back nine, this is reflected in the way the stroke indices have been allocated.
The club house has all the facilities you would expect; large locker rooms with plenty of showers, and an extensive range of food and drink served in a pleasant open restaurant/bar area. An hotel is attached to the club house.

 Ubolratana Dam Golf Course

18 holes, par 72. The most mature of the local courses which provides a good test of golf; position off the tee is rewarded more than length.
The fairways are generous, tree lined, with lush grass; the proximity of the dam means there is no shortage of water for irrigation all year round. Water hazards come into play on 11 of the holes to a greater or lesser extent. Overall, a good course that requires accuracy of shot and punishes those which are not.

Sriburiruk Golf Course (The Agg)

9 hole, par 36. This is a nice little course that provides an alternative to some of the longer courses. The fairways are reasonably generous and have plenty of grass on them. Overall a good little course that has some interesting challenges, playing to handicap is not easy.

 Siharatdechochai Golf Course (The Army)

18 holes. Although the standard of this course is not up to that of other local courses, it does offer a good alternative venue to play golf. Even if not reaching the standard of other courses, it does make for a pleasant round, with some interesting holes; keeping to your handicap will not be easy.
Basic but cheap. Worth a visit?

Victory Park Golf & Country Club

Victory Park Golf & Country Club built in 1997 was the first 18-hole golf course in Nong Khai province and near the Thai border with Laos. The Issan golf course has a nice, albeit flat, layout, with well-maintained greens set in a natural environment.
Overall, Victory Park is a pleasant golf experience, especially for those golfers traveling in Issan and from Laos.

Royal Creek Golf Club And Resort

Royal Creek Golf Club and Resort is an 18-hole, par-72 international standard golf course.  Royal Creek Golf Club and Resort is a unique offering. Designed by a local Thai company, the course was built on rice paddy fields, incorporating many man-made lakes, creeks and reservoirs. The small sized greens and large bunker complexes add to the challenge, as straight hitting reaps greater rewards than big hitting at Royal Creek Golf Course.
